"I thought this movie was fun/cool concept wise. The movie did go fast, but the storyline also seemed to be lacking a bit at some parts, but maybe that's because I haven't read the books. Wonder if a 2nd movie will be made or not"

"So I saw this in theaters and remembered liking it. I don't know what kind of drugs I was on at the time; I've had a lot of surgeries, but I had to of been on something. First off, it's got the "alright alright" guy in it and just because he says it is alright, does not make it so. He's not a good man. He also is a one trick pony when it comes to acting. The movie itself is so slow. It could of been an hour and had all the info needed in it. The kid's mum was an idiot. The step dad should have no say in regards to her child. And spoilers alert, but let's be real you won't wanna watch this whole movie anyway, "alright" dude kills the kids mum. He just completely obliterates her. Now they don't show it, but that's all kinds of Fd up. Just pass on this movie. "

"I’ll start by saying I have not read the books. Based solely on the movie I really liked it. I could tell reading the books would fill in some blanks and complete the story but I enjoyed it nonetheless. Overall it’s a pretty good movie."
