"Saw this recommendation earlier from @ls_7040 and it looked interesting. One of those movies that got horrible ratings on IMDB, Rotten Tomatoes, and Letterboxd. I just got done watching it and it was 90 minutes (remember 90 minute movies? I do. I'm old😒) of pure excitement. First of all, the cast. Amanda Schull (12 Monkeys), Shawn Ashmore (X-Men, The Boys), Milo Ventimiglia (Heroes, Wolverine Manga, Gotham), Bridget Regan (Legend of the Seeker, Agent Carter, Batwoman), and Jonathan Frakes (Star Trek TnG, and waaay more). And the 1st time director is Clay Staub, who was assistant director for Justice League, Batman v Superman, The Thing (Prequel, which I enjoyed), 300, and Dawn of the Dead. I mean, can you put more sci-fi/fantasy people in one project? The description says thriller, horror, science fiction, and that is absolutely 100% spot on. But don't be afraid of the horror part, yes it's got some great scares, but I'd say it leans harder into thriller and sci-fi. This starts strong and kept my attention till the end with no filler (thank you 90 minutes 😁). I will say there is a little bit of off looking cgi in the very beginning, but man do they make up for it big time after that. This is the perfect example for me of a massively low rated movie that imo was waaaaaaay better then the numbers suggest. If you read the actual reviews though, people either hated it or raved about it. If you can't tell, I'm raving. If you want a new edge of your seat thriller with many twists and turns, put this on for 10 minutes and give it a shot. 7.8/10 for me. 👍👍👍"
