"This is a tense, single location heist/hostage film with strong shades of A Christmas Carol. Peter Cushing is in the lead as a bank manger. He plays him as a stuffy, self-important ***** who lords over his staff like he’s the King of England. Andre Morell plays the gregarious thief who has taken Cushing’s family hostage, to force him into helping facilitate the robbery of his bank. Morell takes an instant dislike of Cushing and how he treats his staff. He spends much of the movie gleefully picking apart Cushing’s icy facade. This is just a really well written, 80 minute, gem of a move. 4 Out of 5 Stars "
