"Calling this a “Christian Saw rip-off” is an insult to Saw; even the worst Saw movies still have *SOMETHING* happening!!!! And let’s just take a second here to process that the whole explanation for “the Reconciler” is that his devious master plan is “I’m locking two people in a room until they apologize to each other over a disagreement”. And one method of “trapping”
his “victims” involves—no joke—putting two people on a PUBLIC *hiking trail*!!!!
This thing has production values worse than a YouTube video from 10 years ago, and the story is so bland I literally can’t even tell what GENRE this movie is supposed to be: it doesn’t even attempt to be scary so it can’t be horror, it’s not tense enough for a thriller, there’s no jokes so it’s clearly not a comedy, there’s no drama, no mystery, what’s even the point of this?!?! If I could give this -3 Stars, I would. This isn’t even laughably bad, it’s just a vacuous waste of time. "
