Set in a near-future world where there is no privacy, ignorance or anonymity, our private memories are recorded and crime almost ceases to exist. In trying to solve a series of unsolved murders, Sal Frieland stumbles onto a young woman who appears to have subverted the system and disappeared. She has no identity, no history and no record. Sal realizes it may not be the end of crime but the beginning. Known only as 'The Girl', Sal must find her before he becomes the next victim.

"So boring. My whole family fell asleep. I didn't read the parent guide at first as I was just trying to find a thriller for my mum's birthday. I woke up to the chest of a n*ked girl and just the same s*x scene was played over and over again. They then showed the main girl n*ked as well. I'm lgbt so it doesn't bother me, but when watching with my folks it is awkward. And, then the fact that they just kept showing it over and over again and we were not even half way through the movie, we gave up. "
"This movie is a #science_fiction #thriller with a very interesting way of depicting #technology . The central theme revolves around anonymity online (hence the movie's name) and brings to question what freedoms are people willing to sacrifice for technological advancement, and what safety looks like in a rapidly advancing society. #futuristic #crime #mindbending "
"And this movie explains why everyone likes to be anonymous on the internet and how we don’t want our privacy invaded by anyone especially law enforcement. But in some ways it could help bring in some justice for innocent people if not hacked into and files changed or deleted. And that’s a big if. As always Clive Owen does a great job and I just love his voice."
