When a new friend is brutally assaulted, Detective John Droomor is put by chance in charge of the investigation. Although the evidence against the perpetrators seems overwhelming, there is nothing definitive in the case that guarantees justice is served, even more so if some people are willing to twist and betray it.

"I'm a fan of revenge movies and of Nicolas Cage. But this movie is very middle of the road for me. Actually, there are probably more negative things about this movie than positive. The story is nothing new, it's been done plenty of times, and done better. Most of the acting is bad. Nick Cage plays this one kind of straight, no over the top theatrics. The most notable performance came from the young Talitha Bateman. She played her character as natural and believable. The worst thing about this film is the writing. The dialogue is horrendous. Very cliche. And the courtroom scenes were ridiculously unbelievable. The vengeance that Cage doles out is brutal and quick, no messing about. But the ending felt weak. 5.5/10"
