"Didn’t expect a lot it being a heist movie. But this was great.
So many scenes I really enjoyed. The rapping scene in the beginning. The car scene with the uncomfortable camera angle. The scene with Jack Mulligan arguing with his father. The first set up montage for the heist was great. Plus the heist of course was cool.
But I enjoyed it thoroughly throughout. I liked that the husband’s deaths actually had an effect unlike most movies I seen. All In different ways as well. Veronica is seen crying a lot throughout the film. Linda just seems to be in the anger phase.( I don’t think I’ve seen the actress cry before). Lastly Alice is shown just kinda showing how to live without her husband’s support.(he was abusing her mean money wise.)
All the actors are great and I love all their dialogue and they seem to be really into their roles. Especially Jack Mulligan. I liked that there was a mix between actors I knew and didn’t.
I liked that there was history between a lot of characters that they didn’t dwell on. Just hearing them mention it though felt refreshing.
Probably my favorite heist movie ever.
Daniel Kaluuya was great
Some weird things I’ll mention though. Michelle Rodriguez has some insanely defined calves. Also random foot scene with Elizabeth. Just a weird close up on it.
I liked the back and forth with the main cast. Probably my favorite part honestly. And It was cool to see them get closer in the end. Mainly just Alice and Veronica but still cool. I liked Alice’s development she seemed very clumsy and emotional in the beginning. But she carried herself a lot better later on.
I loved that they showed a bit of the whole heist crew. Belle the least but she makes up for it.
I almost forgot the dog was a great thing to add just seeing a cute dog walking around made me enjoy it much more.
I didn’t really care for the twist. It didn’t feel necessary. Plus they didn’t do much with it.
Which is a shame because just that lowers my ranking for it.

"I think Wrath of Man took some of the ideas and elements from this movie, because the two had a similar feeling. I wish they had given the women a little more credit, with strength and ingenuity across the board, and not just focused into one or two females, but I loved the off beat connection between the characters, and the twist halfway through was very much a surprising twist. This is an #action #thriller with #strong_female_lead (s) #female_lead . I liked the ending--it was complete and made me feel satisfied. #satisfyingending #satisfying_ending #crime #heist #morallygrey . "
"I really like this movie! I don’t know that it would be for everyone but I really love that one woman, even though she is scared, she does what she needs to do. And she gets other women to help. Again, even though they are all scared, they get the job done! Viola Davis, no matter what she is in, is awesome as usual! I love her so much! She is just a most wonderful actor! I hope I meet her some day! So, try it! I hope you like it. "
