"Yeah no. The fact that Derek and Odette leave the movie and Elise takes over in a new land everything feels like a filler episode of a strange TV show.
The beginning is dragged on but I did like seeing the scullions and Puffin being the guards. Not sure how well that'll actually work but it was kind of fun to see.
It does introduce Lucas who I thought was fine enough. His story is okay and his song reminds me of Stand Alone from Quest for Camelot which gives it some extra points, but everything else is just too out there.
I hate the cooking show theme. I do think kids will find it funny, but I couldn't stand it. Roger is clever I'll give him that. The stalling worked.
Then Elise pretending to be one of those meat lovers made no sense. Like yes it's a fine enough idea but it shouldn't have worked as long as it did. Puffins entrance also was okay but very forced.
However, the rest just felt like wading through a bunch of mud to get to the point of the story. I enjoyed the climax fight and thought the meat lovers actions were realistic. Lucas finally showing himself felt natural too.
But then comes the way too long sequence of Lucas and Elise basically playing tag. It is lengthy, and I thought Scully appearing was fine. In fact, he redeems a lot of the stupid moments.
The parents meeting did feel awkward but Lucas' parents were desperate to tell everyone their story. After that everything does have to wrap up and it does.
I just don't feel fulfilled watching this. I felt like my time was wasted. But to finish the franchise I watch it."
