"This movie has been on my list for years and has never been on any streaming service till now that I'm aware of. It just showed up on Plex (it's a free app that everyone should have downloaded btw) for April, so I went ahead and finally checked it off of my list. I've always heard bad things about it, the ratings suck, and it bombed in theaters, making only 5mil. on a 20mil. budget. I didn't hate it, but I will say it is basically a PG-13 Blade or Constantine. Almost feels like they made the show Angel into a movie, and that's not a bad thing really, but the vampires do look very similar. The worst part of this movie is the narration all through the movie by Brandon Routh. It's horribly written and he is not good at narrating at all. The movie could've been a bit shorter as well. Taye Diggs is quite good at being an evil vampire, and I always enjoy Peter Stormare in his typical Russian gangster type role, except in this he's a werewolf. On a side note...Plex is nifty. On top of all the great searching features lacking on all the other streaming services, it's the only one that tells you what time the movie or show will be over when you pause it. Sounds dumb, but it's actually kinda nice to just know exactly what time you'll be done without having to do math 😁. Overall, it was a fun pg-13 horror action movie that did make me chuckle a couple times, and I don't regret watching it at all. But yeah, narration is definitely THIS superman's kryptonite 🤣"
