"I had no plans to watch this beforehand and it was not on my list. This movie, directed and produced by David Schwimmer, reminded me a bit of a recent movie I saw called, "Fallen Angel" (1981), dealing with the similar subject matter of pedophilia. "Trust" has to do with an online child predator. Liana Liberato, who plays the part of Annie Cameron, did quite the fine acting job in this imo. Nothing too graphic is really shown per my recall, but more rather implied, yet the creepiness absolutely comes across loud and clear. Just when I thought the worst was over for this girl, turns out it isn't... The ending of this movie had a bit of the sick surprise... This might be a good educational movie for parents (who have younger kids) to watch as well as the series, "Undercover Underage," which is excellent in my opinion--shows how women go undercover and trap these creeps, and they're doing a great thing, but those they catch is probably only the tip of the iceberg... "So idk why people are hating but I just feel empty inside. It never occurred to me how much SA can, obviously affect the victim, but also the people around them.. like friends and family. How much it changed this girl’s life and her family’s. And the way she didn’t even realize she was SA at first.. that man manipulated her and made her believe things that weren’t true. I am mad at how the movie ended. I think there’s a lot of things that should’ve been added. I wish they showed them actually finding the guy and arresting him. I think ending the movie off a conversation between the girl and her dad was a little weird. "
