The film was hard to watch at times, yet absolutely mesmerizing in what it reveals about this inventor and actress. She struggled to be taken seriously as a serious inventor and patriot in the United States during WWII. Hedy shows through her own words how heartbreaking it was not to be truly seen as a person, and how her beauty and public image blocked how she was perceived. I can certainly say that after I viewed this film, I respect her so much more as a woman with brains and beauty to match. "
