"My girlfriend and I ADORED this one. The textures are some of the most beautiful I’ve seen in black and white since The Innocents. And not only that, we had so much fun enjoying the story. It says a lot when the only nice thing you can say about Peter Wyngarde’s character is ‘well, at least he doesn’t screw his students’, and we were moved by how much his wife cared for this stupid man.
