Going into this film I really didn’t know what to expect especially since it was made by Eli Roth. Surely not his usual take on horror. So I’m really trying to figure out why this was on my Horrortober calendar lol. So was this Eli Roth attempt at being R.L. Stine or Steven Spielberg idk? If I could sum up what this film is then I would call it watchable but nothing special. "

"I thought it was good at first, but now that I think of it, when I first saw it, it was nothing amazing. Not terrible, but not a rewatch for me. I did appreciate the mild scare factor which wasn’t exactly horror but not exactly your TVY7 kind of thrill. Overall, as for the kid friendly aspect, I’d say probably not, though it depends. It is creepy and has some frights"
