"The first half of this movie is really good and actually pretty scary which was a pleasant surprise cause it's very hard to scare me, but as the movie went on it kinda got to convoluted for me and turned into something they could try to explain which deflates all the scary that they where building up. The whole investigation part at the end was just kinda boring and silly which left me disappointed. I think this would do better as just a short film and not a whole movie. "
"For starters, this movie is in Spanish so just a heads up. I enjoyed this movie quite a bit. Visually it was very well done and had a bunch of creepy and scary elements as the story developed. I would say it lived up to the hype I had heard about it and I would definitely recommend checking it out."
"i think my expectations were too high. i heard so many good things about how scary and unique this movie was. it was unique, i will give it that. but it had such a hard time holding my attention! i just kept getting bored. i do think it has some spooky moments in the earlier half. and overall the film had a fairly eerie ambiance. but it was a slow burn, and i felt no connection to any of the characters in the story. so that did not make the slow burn worth while. 2.5★"

"From the director of When Evil Lurks. That’s all you need to know to understand that this is much watch horror. This guy just makes absolute thrill rides in the horror genre. I’m not sure why anyone still talks about James Wan when this guys out there putting out instant classics. Much like When Evil Lurks this one gets right to business straight from the get go and is unrelenting until the very end. There are some classic scenes here and one really well done scene with the corpse or a deceased child that is extremely effective. You can kind of tell the director was refining his craft a little bit as not quite everything lands as well as When Evil Lurks but it’s light years ahead of most Blumhouse garbage. So if you enjoy a good scare look no further. I do have to warn you though that a lot of things that are out of bounds stateside in the genre like graphically depicting children as victims bothers you than you may want to pass. Otherwise this is A tier in the genre. "
"This film's title makes a big claim and doesn't disappoint. It's truly chilling. Older people dominate the cast, and age has nothing to do with their stories; these roles could have been played by anyone. It's nice to see people that age being represented as normal, intelligent folk."
