Officially, Apollo 17 was the last manned mission to the moon. But a year later in 1973, three American astronauts were sent on a secret mission to the moon funded by the US Department of Defense. What you are about to see is the actual footage which the astronauts captured on that mission. While NASA denies its authenticity, others say it's the real reason we've never gone back to the moon.

"Good movie, the filming is very unique, and it is a really cool concept. Up until now I’ve never seen a found footage movie take place in space, I also really enjoy how quickly it cuts to the chase. I feel like some movies of the genre can stay their welcome too long in the beginning (Willow Creek for example), and become boring. I like this movie, it’s somewhat reminiscent of the Alien franchise in its space claustrophobia. "

"This is one of those movies where the premise is extremely interesting, but the execution fell short. The atmosphere, tone, and visuals are really cool and worth a watch if you enjoy retro space horror with a found footage format thrown in for flavor. But you'll probably find yourself giggling at the silliness during the finale. "
"I'm a sucker for a found footage horror/thriller. I thought this one was pretty good. My only pet peeve (just a personal one) is that they kept referring to the abandoned craft and cosmonaut as Russian(s) when, in 1973, they would have still been calling them Soviet(s). It's not that big of a deal, but it's just a personal pet peeve of mine. I would typically overlook it, but they said it so many times that it started to bug me a bit. "
