"🥹🥹🥹 A GREAT watch, hits so damn hard. Powerful reminder of how ugly the US history is & relevant it is today it should never be forgotten, history repeats itself. It is up there with Fruitvale Station, If Beale Street Could Talk, & When They See Us, except a rewarding ending. The black cast felt so warm & familial"
"I am in awe of Brian Stevenson and all he’s been able to accomplish with EJI. This is a powerful story that had me in tears many times. I urge everyone to watch this, especially since it’s free to rent digitally during the month of June. If you too were inspired, I also encourage you to donate to support the Equal Justice Initiative and the amazing work Brian and his team are doing."
