Old Acquaintance

"I was really getting into this movie. I read the premise but seeing it portrayed on the screen was definitely more interesting. Two childhood bestfriends but one is married and has a child while the other has a literary writing career are jealous of each other's life. The married one is definitely more selfish and decides she is going to try to take her own career as a writer and she gets more and more selfish. The other writes for deep thoughts. Her books are more controversial while the selfish friend writes love stories for what the public will pay for. The dynamic was so intriguing while I was watching that I had a hard time turning away. However I am not sure that I like the ending. It was a good ending but I'm not sure I liked it."
