"While aiming to make a feminist horror, this movie partially hit the mark. Although the characters are well made, the plot is intriguing, and the point is clear and well kept, I found the conflict of this movie to be a little disappointing. As soon as I learned the motives of the killers, it was not as interesting (SPOILER; it almost gave these men an excuse, as if they were being controlled). As such, the paranormal addition to this movie took away from it- but not enough for me to not enjoy it. I really enjoy the characters, the dialogue, and the questions it raises. A fun girls holiday horror, but the bad guy could be scarier and more authentically "man"."
"If you want to know what a left-wing propaganda film looks like, I have the answer right here. I don’t know who this is for: it’s too toothless to be scary or horror, it’s too cartoony for satire, it’s too brainless for its intended audience, the main characters are too unlikable to be funny, it’s not even good for an ironic hate watch. It’s a movie for nobody, and at least 2006’s Black X-Mas knows who it’s for. I’d call it a lump of coal, but at least coal is a fuel source. "
"Horrible story line, it could have been written a whole lot better. The wokeness was extremely annoying and not necessary, like at all. Portrays women as angry man-hating bitches, which many of us are not. Also portrays men as nasty pigs and once again the villains towards women. Stop 👏🏻 making 👏🏻 men 👏🏻 the 👏🏻 villains 👏🏻Hard watch, don't recommend. "
