"When i tell you that i WEPT. The way renee thinks requires some intuitiveness to understand, and requires patience on the part of a neurotypical audience. I cant imagine the full experience of being nonverbal, but i can very much understand the sensory meltdowns as i feel smaller versions of her frustrations every day. Cloth materials can feel wrong, noises too loud, people talking too much. The effort Renee made to self-regulate and look Marcus in the eye made me so emotional. Representation. 😤"
