"This is strictly entertainment value as a more accurate recounting of Bass Reeve's life is not really here. Maybe this legendary, real and very admirable figure of Reeves will get a more refined movie one day (and should), but this one is at least fun to watch. The film style is not the best, but the acting from everyone is convincing & firm and should have been in a better film! The costuming is well done as well. I would recommend for a fun, Western watch. "
