The acting, particularly by the lead, is solid, and the remote desert setting adds an eerie backdrop to the story. It's a slow burn that might not be everyone's cup of tea, but if you're a fan of psychological horror with a family twist, it's worth a watch. I don't understand how dumping out the ashes fixed all their problems but oh well. "
