Dark Glasses

"Spooktober 2022 Watchfest #2 of 31 So 𝗦𝗵𝘂𝗱𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗧𝗩 decided to bless us with a secret screening film tonight which I feel was a very cool idea to start of the halloween season. So it’s by the director 𝗗𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗼 𝗔𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗼 who I’m not actually super familiar with and hasn’t made a movie in 10 years. But I see he is very well respected for his older horror films from the 70’s & 80’s. Since I really haven’t seen his films I really can’t compare it to his older work. But from a naked watch this was an enjoyable serial killer/stalker type horror film. One thing that really stuck out to me was the score. It gave me 𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 “𝗛𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗻“ vibes which I very much liked. I also feel it did the whole blind and being stalked sub genre pretty good. It’s not a masterpiece or anything but considerably entertaining watch."
