"Just like his other movies, he plays the hero in this movie. That’s why I don’t watch his movies anymore because they’re all the same even though he’s a really good actor."

"Meh. A better name would have been The Immigrant. There's like a whole 6 minutes worth of marksman related anything and really wasn't all that gritty. Movie really felt like it was missing something besides a Liam Neeson. A good color grading I think would have helped. In a way, it was like a really watered down version of No Country for Old Men."
"I’ve seen much better from this actor"

"It's a great flick, which kinda reminds me of the January 11, 1991, released movie Not Without My Daughter film, but a totally different storyline in some sort.
While it's not a true story, they do put perspectives of what actually happens though with the cartel, smuggling, and so on.
I should point out though while it's a Liam Neeson film and might feel like every other savior kind of film to many, this film if you look at the perspectives playing out, feels totally different and Neeson played the part very well of a veteran trying to save a child and his mother from the cartel, which are trying all their best to get the child's mother and child, as that's how the cartel actually works in real life.
This movie is heart-wrenching at times and knows how to pull on the heartstrings while you're on the edge of your seat waiting to see what happens next.
Would I recommend watching this? Absolutely, as it's very well written out and played out by all of the actors, and you can feel the emotions playing out by those who are playing the cartel, the child and mother and child, and so on. "
