"I adored this movie. Adam Sandler has this sadness behind his eyes that seems so real. Incredible job. It was on the slower side but it all pulled together very nicely. They did a wonderful job of making us like lenka. She seemed so beautiful and charming in the memory scenes. Love a well done love story. "
"I cannot rate this because I never finished nor do I have the intention to really finish it I ended up falling asleep during this was really slow in my opinion but adam sandler acting was phenomenal and I think if you are a Sci fi fan this would be way more up your alley. Not saying it's a bad movie just not my cup of tea."
"A man, Jakub, oh my God goes on a solo mission into space, during his journey Jakub is encountered by a gigantic spider whom helps him reinforce his emotions pertaining to his beloved wife back on earth. I always enjoy watching an actor that you normally see in comedies take a serious role. the storyline was slow, steady, bizarre and very deep. Imagine being lonely in space and you befriend an alien spider whom practically becomes your counselor."
"This movie seemed kinda underwhelming. I could tell with the concept they could've done so much more. Instead the whole movie was pretty much Adam Sandler having a mental breakdown in space, with cool visuals. The trailer makes you believe the movie's better than it unfortunately actually is."
"Another excellent job in a dramatic role by Adam Sandler. He is so much better in these roles than his recent comedic work. He primarily acts alone with this CGI alien that is like his therapist who helps him navigate through his memories. It helps him to reflect on his marriage and explore why it's breaking down. It is a bit of a slow burn that doesn't really pay off all the way. The ending is thought provoking as you are not sure how much of this actually happend or maybe none of it at all. It's not for everyone but I enjoyed Sandlers performance and character exploration. Please check out my podcast Mostly Low Budget Reviews with Clarence for a full break down. Link is in the bio. Thank you!"
