"I loved this movie! A very odd, crass and strangely heartwarming romance movie and definitely has made it onto my comfort movie list. I love it when the weird girl gets to have an actual romance but not only with someone who can mach her freak instead of her having to change to be more socially acceptable. This movie just hit a spot that I didn't know I needed. There are lot of slurs that could turn someone off which is very understandable. If you like the awkwardness of Napoleon Dynamite you will like this I think. "
"This movie is like sitting on your boyfriend's bed in his parents basement as he yells at the TV and punches a hole in the drywall.
A Freakshow masquerading as an unlikely alternative rom-com. The 'comedy' element mainly consists of the constantly aggressive lead yelling at strangers in public. this is clearly some narcissistic fantasy playing out, where the wealthy destructive poverty-tourist, talentless musician who won't stop yelling at everyone around him is constantly being hit on by women while he has frequent violent outbursts.
This movie is impressive in how poorly it was constructed. It would make a great case study for dissecting the awful writing and incompetent narrative framing with how consistently it fails to understand itself. "
