"Had no idea what to expect when beginning this movie, but it was really great. In a nutshell: Growing up in a poor community and being raised to take over the family business, a son has to find the strength and courage (as well as money and knowledge) to pursue his true passion of becoming a sommelier. With not many people believing in him or taking his passion seriously, he needs to work hard to make his dream a reality."
"I really dug how this flick depicts the family dynamics facing the young protagonist. Centering such a film on an African American who is articulate, curious and conscious is a fresh take, even if long overdue. The common betrayals and reversals that life can offer are portrayed well here, without melodrama or stereotyping, which makes for a good, universal story. Enjoy this on a chill evening with someone to cuddle with or when your teens need a little inspiration. "
"Loved this film about an aspiring black sommelier who upsets his father when he pursues his dream instead of taking over the family business. Neicy Nash is endearing as ever as the supportive mother in this well-written film debut from writer-director Prentice Penny, the showrunner for Issa Rae's HBO series Insecure. Definitely make time to watch this touching film!"

"I loved how realistic this movie was. And the ending….SO INSPIRING!!!! The whole “if at first you don’t succeeded” notion is prevalent throughout which makes it super relatable because we all face moments where we may not succeed at first. And the urge to give in to defeat feels so natural and easy to do…but we HAVE TO try again. That determination is what truly separates losers from the winners. I love this movie!"
