" ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️1/2 “Guess what, we’re not going back to the garden…I don’t think anyone was wearing flowers in their hair after that”. This film is a record of the infamous concert that signaled the end of peace, love and understanding. Marking a definitive moment when the sense of hopefulness for a better world moves to disillusionment, cynicism and violence. Yeah we can’t have nice things because..humans ruin everything. This is a good one to watch after the two-part Laurel Canyon doc to get the full scope of the evolution of flower power to it’s depressing end. Interesting note, this concert took place where I grew up. It took me years to realize ‘oh it is THAT Altamont!’ "
