"I was excited for this one, as I'm all about QI/the everlasting and bewildering nature of Consciousness, horror/horror comedy done well, and the accessible extension of pre-established boundaries. This was well-acted, well-shot, and decently-written, but it failed to grasp a solid hold on any of the aforementioned niches. Its dreamlike nature and Alice Lowe's wherewithal are the standout aspects of this bizarro piece which is very singularly focused on making sure you understand that everyone in every lifetime plays the same role in the end, and it's ultimately up to you to change the narrative. It's a solid enough message whose recasting of actors is fun for a while, but after that, it hits an "...ok...?" plateau where you're left wondering if it's going to do anything interesting with all of it after tying off all the rest of its interest. Sorta does. Sorta doesn't."
