A young botanist relocates to a small desert town to study an invasive plant species. While out on research, she comes to the aid of a downed plane only to find herself taken captive by an inexperienced drug mule who forces her to lead a trek across the sweltering desert to his drop. A local sheriff is drawn into the hunt as his rebellious daughter sets out to find the missing botanist, all the while being pursued by a local drug receiver.

"⭐️⭐️⭐️ it took me a bit to get invested and honestly if anyone other than Lucy Hale was in this I wouldn’t have tried. But invested I eventually got. Still, a weak film with adequate enough suspense and plucky heroines to root for to make it semi worthwhile before a surprisingly cheesy and abrupt end. "

"The movie had lots of potential, Lucy hale is an amazing actor BUT there is far too much silence in the movie, for me/not enough thrilling action for this type of movie. Overall, It’s a good movie to watch to pass the time, and Lucy gets you hooked to finish the movie lol even though you’re not quite sure why. "
