"A powerful film with a thought-provoking exploration of the meaning of forgiveness and what is the right thing to do in a difficult position. Top notch performances across the board (especially Jessie Buckley, Rooney Mara, Claire Foy, and Ben Whishaw) and especially Sarah Polley’s screenplay (I hope this wins Adapted Screenplay at the Oscars). More people need to see this."

"This was an incredibly powerful movie and hard to watch. Women Talking has a calm, almost serene quality, which makes the fleeting glimpses of the horrors these women and children went through even more bone chilling. The outstanding ensemble cast delivers incredibly nuanced and grounded performances that should give this movie a solid place among the academy award nominees. 9 out of 10"
"Completely loved this movie. Based on a true story, this is filled with amazing performances, thought-provoking moments, and leaves you feeling satisfied. Heart-wrenching at points, this film is serious and dramatic, but has a great purpose and higher message. I greatly recommend this for those that enjoy feminist movies, meaningful messages, and a story of survival."
"Every bit as boring as it sounds. Kind of like an Amish Breakfast Club, but this is based on true events that occurred during the Manitoba Colony serial rape cases in Bolivia from 2009-2012. After the women are gassed & raped in their homes, they meet to discuss whether they should stay & forgive the men who assaulted them, stay but fight (kill?) them or just flee altogether. Featuring Frances McDormand, Judith Ivey, Rooney Mara, Jessie Buckley, Claire Foy…on Amazon Prime."
