"A serious movie about a serious subject, the investigating journalism of the breaking of the Harvey Weinstein sex scandal. It shows the importance of journalism and the harrowing accounts of his numerous victims. But also the systematic and unjust way the laws, the EEOC, the coverups and insidious way the everything is set up to keep these victims quiet. As a father of two teen girls, it’s heartbreaking to watch. And also, the effects this had on the two women reporters and their families. When one’s 8 year old daughter asked her mother about rape, I was brought to tears. "

"Excellent portrayal of the beginning of the #MeToo movement by two amazing female investigative reporters at the New York Times. They broke the Harvey Weinstein story and opened the door for women to speak up worldwide. Does hit a little different to watch this the week that his conviction got overturned, though... :/ "
"A movie that never fails to be inspiring, heart wrenching, and beautiful all in the same moment. Really well done, from start to finish. A very documentary-esque feel as the movie focuses on the investigation of horrors against women instead of the horrors themselves. I found this approach unique and rewarding and it gave me some great insight into things that I had always wanted more information on. Worth a watch, certainly."
