I get it for the discussions and debates it opens up. It's good in a university educational setting.
I get that it was the first of its kind, portraying the victim as the antagonist.
But I can't get past it.
If you can't get through Nabokovs book, this is a quick cheat that will give you the idea. It's been updated obviously.
