"Comedy movies are my favorite genre. I wish I liked horror instead because there are 100 horror movies to every comedy movie released. So I hate to bash any new comedies that come out. It’s not terrible but also it just isn’t very good. Most of the characters are so unlikable that by the time their redemption arc comes, you don’t care. Allison Janney is the one saving grace, per usual. "
"I genuinely laughed out loud at this one absolutely loved it ! Allison Janney, Kristin Bell and Benjamin Platt were a great ensemble so perfect :)"

"Watched only about 20 minutes of this movie and didn’t like it! It was stereotypical although it did have some representation. It was too forced rather than outgoing and actually funny. I wish we had more context on why they hated their half sister other than her inheriting a lot of money from her father who was not usually in her life. I don’t think that’s a reason to hate someone, their attitude is more of a reason. This “disfunctional” family is not that out of the ordinary and it seemed like they tried to make it more scandalous than it was. The two siblings from the moms second marriage were seen as the ‘poor’ kids as they didn’t inherit large amounts of money from their passing father, but they lived descent lives. One lived in LA in a nice apartment with a descent job while the other sibling lived in Philadelphia as an OCD therapist. The more I think about this film, the more upset I get about the hidden view on it. I’m very disappointed! "
"I enjoyed this movie! Funny and sweet. I liked the family bond that they had and it was just a great movie to see. There are some steamy scenes so beware of those. "
