"The film is dated, but I watched it for the nostalgia. There’s something comforting as an adult, watching a high school drama. It reminds me of what I thought was “a big deal” and reminds me how much simpler it was back as a teenager. There’s some cute moments with Lola and her mom that warmed my heart, as well as Lola and Kyles young love. Overall I think this movie was a fun and easy watch."

"I used to think this movie was so great when I was younger. Now I realize the glamorization of bad grades and making a boy the center of a girls universe is so ew. Fun movie dont get me wrong but sending all the wrong messages like I got caught doing bad things by mom oh let me just go to dads until mom feels bad and we makeup like i did nothing wrong"
