God Is a Bullet

"I really wanted to like this film, but I must say I was disappointed. The trailer promised a gritty revenge film but that is barely what the end result is. The acting is superb and the cinematography is on point, the fault lies in the writing and the dialogue. The movie runs too long with a lot of scenes that could easily have been omitted to help things flow better. But then there are the plot holes... too many to count. There's a really good movie in there somewhere, had it been edited differently. The only other saving grace besides the acting and cinematography, was that the violence was pretty graphic and somewhat satisfying. 5/10"

"Bob is a detective with very little experience in the field until his daughter is kidnapped by a cult. Case, a former member of this cult, teams up with Bob for a rescue/revenge mission. Now there is a whole lot wrong with this ultraviolet film from sensational survivals to poor character choices and poor CGI. But I really enjoyed the two leads, the music and the bloody action. Just my opinion as always."
