The Loneliest Planet

"One of the worst films I've ever seen. It's like a Terrence Malick film, but without the deeper meaning. It's like the beginning of a horror film, but they roll credits long before the killings start. Much like how Lord Of The Rings spent 9 hours+ trying to show 2 hobbits heading to a mountain, this is part one of probably a 5 part movie, about how people die and the things that are set in motion that lead you on the path to death. The quintilogy probably spans the course of 25 years, like sunset/sunrise trilogy, but they stopped making it after part 1. If you're one of those people who like projecting their ideas and intentions in movies to fill gaps left open to interpretation, this film will be a playground for you. The production is fine, acting is fine, cinematography is fine. But if you wanna know what happens, you only need a trailer to watch."
