"Just meh....I love Stephen King and I was a kid when this book came out and the film adaptation was just as creepy and did the book so much justice. I have loved all the followups to the original but this one just felt like warmed over 2 day old meatloaf. Its sustaining but not as good as the 1st time. "
"another pisser, lol. People & trucks just appear out of nowhere with a loud jolt that feels like its meant to cause disorder. I was totally shook by the state of David Ducovny..wtf happened to him, lol. I was glad to see Pam Greir but other than that not 1 likeable character, i could have cared less. Still waiting on proper easter eggs in storyline, very disorganized. Lindsey Anderson directed, she has 0 experience in creating a true nuanced horror film. Lots of unnecessary cannibalism going down too. It also felt like they were passing the torch in some way , the indian guy gets out of the small 1 horse town while the leading man stays behind. Im seeing alot of these woke scenarios lately. I didn’t expect a masterpiece but this was a waste of talented veteran actors. "
"Pointless prequel. Lifeless. Honestly a blur. Not sure what the point of this was. Don’t even remember the characters name. It’s right where it belongs. I like the first 2. I enjoyed the remake. Doesn’t feel like a pet semetary. It’s really 1 star. I gave it 2 bc of Pam Grier, and I liked the small town atmosphere. "
