"I saw this movie before it was released and although I didn’t finished reading the book the film did not compare to the book. They definitely did a lot of work to make it watchable. Overall I think this movie was not that bad just a bit pg 13 at some parts. "

"I'm not gonna lie, very- sometimes excruciatingly cheesy. The first half if narrated which is lazy storytelling. BUT, I think it's good for girls to watch. It would probably be a really good book. They main characters are hot which is a bonus. It tackles the problem a lot of people face with losing their identity when with a partner. They touch on codependency but dont really address how to place in boundaries. And it kinda goes the way of eat pray love, where they say a bunch of meaningful stuff and then backtrack over all of it so they girl doesnt end up single 🤦♀️. Good little self indulgent cheese though."

The majority of the movie was focused on the fighting and there wasn't as much romance as I would have liked, also wish we could have seen more cohesive development of their love. The fighting was pretty thought out and researched. The main characters are attractive which helps but a lot of the characters felt kinda flat. I also agree that it touched on some pieces of toxic relationships but it doesn't fully address them. Overall I'd say it was a fun kinda Wattpady watch.

"It’s an okay romantic movie, I suppose. Unfortunately, this movie is full of flat characters. The main antagonist and the main character’s sister especially fell flat. It also relied too much on the narration. I would have preferred if the movie added in an extra 20 minutes to feature scenes that flesh out the relationships between the main, her ex, and her sister. I think it would have set the tone for the main story better. "
"They focused a lot of the screen time in this movie on the fighting when they should've focused more of it on the romance. From what I saw, it looks like they really did their research, but there wasn't enough time dedicated to Sienna & Kayden. It felt like all they really did was train and suddenly they had feelings for each other. I would've liked to see the development of their feelings for each other before just jumping right to it."
