Diana Nyad is like the Alex Honnold of the ocean!! 🌊🌊🏊💪🪼🦈 And she definitely had a strong support team of champions who helped her achieve her dream… and at age 64!!! 😮 … All of the acting was TERRIFIC, especially the two leading actresses and I liked Jodie Foster’s character who played Nyad’s real-life BFF 👯 Such a GREAT story!!! 🤯 "

"4.5⭐️ I love seeing Jodie foster back in action these days and of course she’s wonderful in this film. Annette Bening is always terrific too however I do wonder if the real Diana Nyad is as annoyingly recalcitrant, as I didn’t really recognize her in this portrayal from what I’ve seen in interviews or on TV. No doubt she is a wonder of an athlete and an icon of sheer force, determination and grit. This film viscerally spotlights the serious resoluteness and dogged force of will required to accomplish her incredible feat. It’s an amazing story and a fantastic film. I was as excited and moved and inspired as when the real life Diana stumbled to victory on the Key West shoreline. She may physically be the ultimate but she also epitomized for us what women are made of, especially at midlife and beyond. "

Jodie Foster is so much older now that’s how I know I’m getting old lol. I really understand the nominations this film has for the upcoming Golden Globes it’s really on par."
