"Such an interesting movie about the examination of culture clashes, with a quirky mix of comedy and pathos and a set of characters that you end up caring for a lot. Extremely well written and well acted too, with stellar performances especially by all of the 3 leads (Winston Chao, May Chin and Mitchell Lichtenstein). A great sophomore feature for Ang Lee. Highly worth watching, especially for those interested in Ang Lee’s earlier work."

"I really liked it and wanted more. Comical at first with serious sentimental notes. I enjoyed it."
