"I reviewed this previously as well. Sorry I keep putting that in but I have spent a lot of time on this app writing reviews and so many are just gone.
That said this did not scare me. Perhaps because I was raised Roman Catholic and the real life horrors are more disturbing. See it at least once. "
"This a horror movie that has and will stand the test of time, even now it feels like it could be made today it’s almost better and more scary then anything out today. I can’t tell you how much I love the sound Design of this film if you get the chance watch it in Surround sound and in the dark that’s some spooky stuff. I can tell they put their all into the movie for better or for worst but the outcome is one of true horror you can still feel today. "
"Director William freidken did a masterful job bringing to the screen a very difficult subject and the actors were all good."

"This was the first horror film (that I ever saw) that tackled the possession concept from a highly medical and skeptical angle. To back that up they definitely did not shy away from extremely disturbing material, verbal or otherwise. As a child seeing this my mind exploded for sure. Worth every morsel of the hype, this film was waaaay ahead of its time. Direction, writing, cast, it’s seriously all above the rest. Changed my little 12 year old life forever"
"I felt like I hadn’t been watching much of the horror classics so I gave this a try. I really enjoyed this movie I thought it was a night refresher to the genre. I honestly didn’t think it was scary in any way. Which don’t really see that as a problem I don’t usually get scared from any films. I did find a lot of parts very amusing I think maybe because it was older so obviously they didn’t have the technology and materials we have now. The priest was badass. Nice plot."
