In Texas, the aspirant actress Nicole Carrow runs away home to Los Angeles with her boyfriend Jess Hilts. They drive through a shortcut in an old road, and when they park in a rest stop, Jess is abducted by the sadistic driver of an old yellow truck. Along the night, Nicole is threatened by the sick maniac, while mysterious things happen to her in the place.

"in hindsight, i love love love the easter eggs. HEAVY SPOILERS HEAVY SPOILERS. this was directed by John Shiban of Xfiles fame & produced by Dan Myrick of Blair Witch Project. the lead was played by pretty Jamie Alexander of Thor & Loki series. I was stumped at 1st , but this is a ghost story of sorts not just a horror flick . Like the Reeker series, shes stuck in the afterlife repeating her demise over & over bc she has the raise her frequency up ( she kinda stuck on AM & needs to be on FM). Shes very foul mouthed & having ex w/ her boyfriend while filming it..this was rare back in the 90s, when this was taking place, kids. Thats why the demon family keeps calling here “*****” & the ex scene she filmed keeps repeating. Shibans stories always leave u thinking & asking for more 5/5 "
