Oh Belinda

"The trailer alone would've turned me away from this film, as the editing makes the movie appear very silly and outrageous. But being a fan of the lead, Neslihan Atagül, I watched it, trusting her choice in the role. And sure enough, I did really enjoy it, she did an amazing job portraying this very complex character. Additionally, the movie uses the concept of moving between dimensions as a tool for deeper meaning, as opposed to it being the whole story. I also found a lot of the story to be believable - the stuff that wasn't fantasy. Her character's reaction to the new reality, the sequence of events that follow, and especially the end. It's not a perfect movie, but the tonal shifts throughout the fast-moving plot and great acting are definitely enough to keep viewers interested. 8/10"
