"A great idea for a horror movie that was poorly executed. The old people were made to look creepy enough but the story was really weak and most of the characters I didn't care about. There was a disconnect between the characters and the audience. I give it a D+."

"German horror about old people turning into homicidal zombie-like animals. They're not really animals and they're not zombies in that they eat people, although they do bite. It's unknown to the viewer what sets them off. It's definitely a slasher movie and I know it's meant to be scary. Unfortunately, I have a hard time being truly scared anymore. And the gore doesn't bother me. I guess people don't like the movie because of ageist stuff, or whatever. Didn't bother me. Movies are constantly trying to be original and find new monsters. We've had babies so why not the elderly? Anyway, here is a little quote from Wikipedia that helps a little bit... "A long time ago, old people were thought to have an avenging spirit in some of them, which would take full control of the weakest members and drive them into a seemingly blind rage against the world." Although I don't think it's the world. Otherwise they would have gone after each other, too. There are definitely parts that don't make sense, like when one person runs out screaming at all the old people standing around but nobody attacks the person. And Other things. It's an end of the world as we know it film and you don't come away from it with any answers, unless I missed something. Pretty bleak. It was an ok movie but I've seen so much better. 2.75/5*s "

"⭐️3.5/5⭐️ It was a good horror/thriller movie and hand a few disturbing moments. The gore and killing scenes were well done. They really made the old people look as scary as possible. I just found the characters a bit annoying and I just didn’t connect with any of them. I’m also a little confused to what happens to the world at the end of this. Finally, I did find some of the deaths a bit surprising, like they weren’t afraid killing of any characters which I enjoyed."
