"One of the best horror movies Iβve seen since Hereditary. Definitely worth a watch from any horror fan."

"This movie is good! It was dark and eerie, the jump scares were good, and the acting/filming was great. I only wish that they would have not placed CGI in the film. There was no need for it. Besides that, I would recommend this movie to anyone looking for a scary ghost/possession horror!"
"Holy Hell! Found this in preparation for spooky season and was not prepared for just how horrific it would be. Masterfully shot with brilliant pacing and does not hold back on the scares in the slightest while also not relying on cheap music sting jump scares to leave those knuckles white as a ghost when the credits roll. A somber story wonderfully acted with themes involving the fear of dealing with death in a good old fashioned demonic possession package that will stick with you for a while."
"This one fell by the wayside during the pandemic which is an absolute shame because this is one hell of a supernatural horror flick. Directed by Bryan Bertino who created the original The Strangers this is an absolutely uncompromising and mean spirited movie that has a palpable sense of dread right from the beginning and that only increases until the very last scene. Truly impressive work here by Bertino who has now proven that he can reliably bring the goods with each entry into the genre (besides The Strangers check out The Monster too). Solid acting all around from recognizable but not famous actors who truly give this their all. What I love about this movie is the setting which takes place on an isolated modern day farm as well as the responses from the characters feels believable, a rarity in a horror film. A lot of horror films while fun donβt feel realistic but this one actually does which means that youβll come away feeling disturbed and on edge. This one needs to be mentioned more in best of lists and in my opinion is a close second to When Evil Lurks as my favorite horror movies I watched in 2024. Highly recommended. "
