" 7 bite sized episodes that go by surprisingly quickly. I didn’t know a whole lot about Fran but she’s always been there in the background of my life. One of those pop cultural icons of yore who just..were. You know kinda like Andy Warhol or Norman Mailer. I learned a bit more about her but really the thing with this doc is how much you laugh. A LOT. Her down to earth no nonsense irascible wit is pure gold. A one of a kind or maybe the last of her kind. Either way I’m glad this doc exists as a kind of record of that as well as the gritty NY of the 70s and 80s. You don’t have to be old to enjoy it I promise lol. Just so good! "
