"It’s definitely entertaining, do wish there was less blood though, I don’t remember there being as much in season 1. the new characters are pretty good (especially Frida). I love Ayo Edebiri so it was rlly cool to hear her as Harriet in this. I did cry at episode 9 bc oh my god like genuinely rlly touching and heartfelt episode out of a trashy highschool drama of historical clones. Also the animation changes on that and the soundtrack were just phenomenal"
"Was afraid it will get too woke, while it did had one or two woke instances, there were more making fun of wokes instances in it so I'll forgive the woke stuff they did. The story though sort of stopped being a parody of teenage dramas and their tropes and became a comedy teenage drama and more of a coming of age story, while it's fun, it's different from the original point of the show. I don't have a strong opinion on the new characters, I don't hate them but I don't love them either. I liked *spoilers* cleo and frida's relationship though it's cute. Abe is still one of my favorite characters along with Scudworth and Mr. B. JFK is digestible in this season, he was insufferable in the original. Joan is still a bitch and will always be the worst of them all. Christopher Columbus is hilarious. I didn't like the new music approach though, sounds like music they'd make fun of but they actually used it unironically. I'm glad they kept the art style though and revamped the opening song."
"it’s definitely different from the first show. there’s more blood, different humor, and it’s much more plot-based. still good. still funny. just different. 3/5 stars "
