"1st half >> 2nd half. loads of complex characters, including kairu who’s arcs I enjoyed most. I believe I also greatly related w her which made me more invested. As the show reached its end, it got very mc relationship heavy, which I usually wouldn’t complain abt, but I think there was greater complex storylines the writer could have harnessed."
"This anime handles some heavy and complex themes very well, keeping the entertainment light without making light of what the characters are going through. It has its flaws, as I remember, but ultimately it's a compelling and meaningful exploration of trauma and how people cope with the parts of themselves they wish they could change or escape -- how they wish the past itself could be altered, even when it can't. This is a solidly 4 star anime."
"This show is really great! I watched it when it first aired. The romance is really sweet and it’s funny. HOWEVER, there are 17 episodes, not 13, so make sure you watch all of them because I didn’t at first, but I rewatched it and it made more sense then. :) "
