"The Jeffersons was one of the most #groundbreaking and #iconic iconic #sitcoms of its time — George & Weezy were both sassy & fun, and George’s signature strut and dance moves never failed to crack me up😂 Florence, their housekeeper, was pure #comedy gold—her sharp comebacks and jabs at George provided some of the best moments of the show. The supporting cast was great, too, including their neighbors, the Willises — I remember being totally floored when I found out that Roxie Roker, who played Helen Willis, was also the real-life mother of rock legend #LennyKravitz (and grandmother of #ZoëKravitz)! Unfortunately, the preview clip here doesn’t do this show any justice. The film quality looks old and outdated, which is a shame because The Jeffersons I occasionally watch on #Roku or #Starz looks perfectly fine and is still a funny #sitcom to watch for some real laughs!"
