"I thought this was an unusual show. I feel like it went all over the place, and that's hard to explain. It was interesting, though. It was sometimes hard to know what was going on because there would be dreams or visions or flashbacks that made it difficult to know what was happening. I did get used to it and it didn't end up being something that detracted from my enjoyment.
I'm not sure how to describe the show. Let's see. Ok. It's basically about an antihero/vigilante who seems to have certain "powers" that allow him to know someone is a very bad person just by being in their close vicinity. He also has luck that exceeds coincidence. He eventually ends up with a sidekick and is hunted by the police. There is also a BAD bad guy who is also being hunted by the police. How do all of these lives intersect? I guess you'll have to watch it.
It has a solid ending but also seems open for another season. I would watch it even though this season has some slow parts, especially the sixth episode. As I was watching it, I thought it was the seventh and final episode so that might be why it felt slow. I was waiting for scenes to play out in a way that showed the series was winding down but nothing was heading towards resolution. When the episode ended I was like, that's it?! Thankfully another episode started! I don't really have a point. I guess I would like anyone who watches this to comment on this post what they thought of the sixth episode. Was it slow or was it just me?
The main police office was HAND. SOME!!! Our antihero was pretty cute too. He was in a couple other popular Korean shows that I'm going to check out because of him. Solid acting, for sure! If you enjoy Korean movies and shows, you should definitely give this one a good.

"I am only 4 out of 8 episodes in right now but it happened that quickly without realizing it. This is a Korean crime drama series and I can't think of any shows I have personally watched to compare it to. So, as far as comparable movies go, this is in league with films like Frailty (ft. Bill Paxton), and the M. Night trilogy of Unbreakable, Split and Glass.
Not only do they compare in what they make you question about circumstances, etc, but the visual style used to tell the story also adds flavor and makes it even more enjoyable.
I have not finished watching the series as I have only paused to make note here. My only concern is if this will end with this season or will it end on a cliffhanger? I hope it ends with this season leaving me feeling like I watched something memorably enjoyable. Instead of with a cliffhanger and a link to an article months from now about how Netflix decided to cancel the second season...
***Correction*** - This is comparable to the Korean TV series Vigilante although A Killer Paradox is not as violent or graphic. But Vigilante made me want to rewatch it immediately after I finished the first season. But that's probably just me.
***Update*** - I finished the series. Happy if only one season. And this could have been 1.5 to 2 episodes shorter to tighten it up a bit. "
